While I am struggling to accept that summer is in it's last days, there are things around that show there is still warmth in the air, and growing still happening.... and in our garden ... the corn has been harvested !!! The corn plants have been watched carefully since they were planted in early summer and the fruits of these plants eagerly anticipated.
It was so satisfying to watch the kids enjoy the act of corn stripping and watch the joy and simple pleasure of watching the beautiful yellow cobs being unveiled...... yeah Autumn is OK so far.....
