Harvest date is announced !!!! Big big excitement...
Sooo the night before is all hands on deck ..... pulling in the nets...
so after dinner we all headed down the back.....
Rob , I and the older two worked for a few hours unclipping and pulling in.... while the little ones did a LOT of grape eating (getting as much as they could, knowing they were to be all gone the next day)......
We also had a bit of grape dumping to do, we unfortunately had a bit of botrytis in patches....
...and as a double bummer because we also discovered a dead sheep to bury, which was sad , Becca especially sad about this...
It was exciting to be out late in the evening , and were still going after dark, which just made it more exciting , luckily it was a clear night and we had a full moon to work under.....
