I believe having a bike is an important part of everyone's childhood, but on this 10 acres of ours , I find that the kids really do use their bikes a lot. Especially when getting down to the back where our goats and sheep , and pond is.
We gave Arwen a running bike a few months ago, it is awesome and she loves it!!! And for me ,it means that I don't have to pick up and carry her home when the grizzles happen (as they so often doing when walking any distance is involved)..... yeah I really love that running bike.
and so we regularly venture down the back where there is always fun to be had with trees and swings and animals...
