We recently were gifted new chicken's from neighbours that moved into town and it sparked a big big reprisal of chicken love in our house.
Becca's job of feeding the chicken's takes anywhere from half an hour to an hour and a half as she attempts to befriend each and everyone of them, tempting them with pieces of food and her and Anton are often found spending a considerable amount of time digging up worms for them (they LOVE this!!).
She has had success with a few of them , particularly our newly aquired Plymouth rock's. I have to admit I am quite fond of these one's too, they have lovely natures and the eggs they lay are very generously sized (gotta love that). Our new chicken's came with three baby's too, which was very exciting and Becca has definately got these guys eating out her hands.
Arwen too loves these creatures and spends lots of time walking amongst them talking to them, checking for eggs at every opportunity (most of them now make it inside in one piece!!) and searching for there resting/hiding places in amongst the boundary trees..
