Observations on a balmy beach evening

We have had a quite weekend, with everyone trying to recover from residual colds and bugs.... one the last night of our 'Marlborough long weekend' we decided to venture out to the beach..

The wind had died down and it was a gorgeous balmy evening, a real feeling of summer in the air (yes it's coming I know it must be) .. and we stayed longer than the 'quick trip' we had intended on.... but it was oh so calming and therapeutic for all.....

So pleased I had my camera to savor the beautiful evening and that amazing light.....
