My little helper

I have two shadows that follow me around at the moment, one that is very much in the shape of me, and the other a smaller one in the shape of .... well in a shape very much of her own.
She watches ,absorbs ,learns and mimics , and is so so present with all that I do.
And ,mostly, I love it !!!

Out in the garden the other night "we" worked to get a few plants in before the sun went down. The evening was warm and the company very agreeable , and as we 'gardened' we discussed the world's problems , as she see's the world ,of course.
And I have to say I found it quite enlightening.,.

pruning with scissors (her tool of choice)

I directed her pruning enthusiasm to a patch of grass

Our deep life discusions (as depicted by a two year old) were ,at one point, briefly averted as she told me a funny story, that became funnier and funnier each time she told it, and she told it a LOT !!....

I must admit I don't think I really 'got' it, but I'm guessing it was one of those 'you just had to be there' things.

She's one crazy two year old...

  1. I love this rambly-story age. We still get a bit of it from Otto when he is in a silly mood, but I miss the long -winded stories which seem to be in an almost completely different language! Haha. The hysterical laughing is just too cute.
