Driftwood

Late yesterday afternoon, after spending much of the day inside we decided to go to the beach, with the intention of gathering diftwood to edge our gardens (at least that was my intention), but it turns out it was too much fun exploring ,playing and taking photo's......

Beaches are good for reflection and contemplation too.....

Then off through the pines .... to the playground !!!

Stopping at along the way to investigate tree stumps to climb, interesting bits of wood to collect, and many many other inviting pieces of nature along the way.

 Don't you love how kids really 'get' that the journey is more important than the destination ....

Remembering destination playground, they were off again...

Arwen ,almost kepping up these days... (well sort of)
