Craft is in

It's all about craft in our house at the moment...... ideas abound and the living room table and floor are the creative hub, all day long, covered in paint, bits of cardboard, many many craft tools, especially cellotape glue guns and staplers....

Yesterday Kurt made Anton a mini version of his castle, which was really sweet.....

...so today they were busy personalising them......... Kurt spent ages detailing his castle's stone work with a pencil.....

..and Anton..... well, here is evidence of the very strong and influential French presence we have had in the house over the last few months... (Anthony and Leslie if you are reading this... we miss you guys).......
he decided his was a 'French' castle.......

...the girls decided not to enter into the medieval theme that seems to have the boys raptured.....and so decided on a bit of fingerstamping....

...perfect for little 2 year old fingers to get involved in.....

....it's easy to be OK about the mess (and ohh boy what a mess !!!!) when it results in such great experiences as perserverance, creativity, imagination...etc.... as well as lots of fun.
