For 'school' today we make clay models. The idea was to make a clay model of the region we live in, including the sea and hills etc... which they did. However it was with far more enthusiasm that they involved themselves in projects of their own (which is so often the case) and the greater part of the rest of the day they worked on clay animals and whatever else took their imagination...
It's funny I do try to keep some degree of 'school' happening around here (as inconsistent and brief as this may be) , but time and time again I am reminded of where what learning happens outside this...
