The local playground

I'm not usually that keen on the kids spending loads of time at playgrounds, especially the new ones sprouting up all over the place with more and more bright coloured plastic parts to them. I prefer them to be climpbing trees and running up hills. But on Sunday Rob took Anton on a 'date' for the morning and the older two kids asked to 'pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease go to the local playground down by the beach' ...so we hoped on our bikes and headed down.... and I have to admit it is a pretty cool playground and it was neat watching them challenging themselves on the monkey bars and the climbing wall... yeah... OK ,playgrounds ,like this one, are  great.....

Becca can now get all the way across this modified monkey bar

an Kurt's almost there

The ever popular monkey bars, good to see they are still exist in modern playgrounds

Attempting to conquer the climbing wall

As with most things with these two it was very  competitive

Success for Kurt ...

Sweet victory

and Becca made it over soon after...

Meanwhile Arwen found happiness in the swings (she loves swings)

It's the simple things that make life so great for sure.....
